Diminished Value

Unfortunately, the unexpected can (and often does) happen. If you have been involved in a road traffic accident and your vehicle has had to go through repairs via insurance, the insurer will likely state they will be able to get you back to where you were before the incident, but this is not always the case. Often, we find that insurers do not take in to account diminished value. Even if your vehicle has been repaired to a good standard, it is likely it’s future sale value will still be negatively impacted due to the vehicle being involved in an accident and needing repairs.

Here at Wreck Check, we are here to protect you – the consumer. Once your vehicle has been repaired by your insurer, will be able to come out to assess your vehicle and the quality of repairs completed. From there, we can provide you with a diminished value assessment to see if the vehicle is now worth less than other like-for-like vehicles.

Insurers owe you a duty of care to ensure that the repairs are done to the highest standard and we are here to make sure this has happened for you. If you would like more information, then please do not hesitate to get in touch with today.
